As a cinematographer who’s always chasing new looks and creative possibilities, I developed Vertiscoper out of my own need for a simple and fast anamorphic workflow, no matter if the lens is mounted for a vertical or in a classic horizontal setup. With today’s demand for fast, social-ready content, shooting “Vertiscope” is my go-to way to capture flexible ≈1:1 masters, ready for any format.

SUPPORTED FORMATS:

IMAGES JPG, TIFF, DNG, Apple ProRAW and camera RAW from Sony, Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Leica and many more. If a rare RAW format isn't readable on your device, convert it to DNG, TIFF or JPEG (e.g. in Lightroom) before importing. Desqueezed RAW photos will be saved as TIFF.

VIDEO H.264, H.265 and Apple ProRes are supported, including 10-bit HDR (HLG/PQ). Please convert other video formats before importing. Desqueezed videos will be saved as H.265 (HEVC) or ProRes when the source is ProRes.
