In each free-play level you start with as many lives as the grid has columns. You earn 1 extra life for every 10 points, and clearing the whole board gives bonus points plus an extra life. To skip or remove the active number, tap its button — this costs 1 life. Alternatively, place a number on top of a different one to swap it; each swap costs 1 life, so you can swap as many times as you have lives left. Sort identical numbers into a full row or column — left to right or top to bottom — to clear them and collect points. Reset: Press and hold a level button, then confirm on the screen that appears.
