Uses either an online Groq fast API via GroqCloud or it downloads the community supported Dolphin X1 8B LLM which is about 4GB (that is GigaBytes, not MegaBytes, so don’t be surprised when it uses a big chunk of your phones memory). To use the online AI, you have to sign up for an account on GroqCloud to get an API key, but it’s free with no credit card required. I have tried both online and offline, and they both work fine. The online AI is smarter and more friendly than the offline (local and private) AI, but still friendly and pretty capable. Neither AI has access to anything on your device, so it won’t spy on you or steal your information. It is purely a chat interface, so there is no photo or video processing. It also works fine on iPad, just make sure you have enough space on your device for an extra 5GB if you are going to use it offline. Recommended! Entertaining, interesting and potentially helpful at solving problems.

When I get in the app it says the ai model doesn’t work? It is also making me download a virus which costs my phone many gb. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! IT CRASHES A MULTITUDE OF TIMES BEFORE IT WORKS! please fix this, I’d be grateful.
