PhaseShift

PhaseShift is a high-fidelity music player for people who keep their own music collection. Listen without an account, advertising or a streaming subscription. Your library stays under your control, and core playback works entirely offline.

Enjoy lossless and high-resolution audio with support for FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, DSF and DFF files. PhaseShift also supports CUE sheets and common playlist formats. Gapless playback, optional crossfade, ReplayGain, a multi-band equalizer, headphone correction, waveform seeking and detailed signal-path information give you control over every listening session.

On Mac, select a connected output device directly in PhaseShift, including USB DACs, without changing the macOS system output. PhaseShift displays the active device, supported sample rates and whether resampling is occurring. It can also match the device rate to the source when the hardware supports it.

Build your library from the Files app, a Mac folder, drag and drop, Wi-Fi Transfer or a supported network location. On Mac, choose whether PhaseShift should copy music into its managed library or use files directly from their existing location. Folder structure can be preserved, referenced music can be reconnected if a drive or folder moves, and new files added to PhaseShift's managed Music folder are detected automatically.

Edit titles, artists, albums, genres, dates, ratings, track numbers and artwork. Batch editing and find-and-replace tools make large metadata changes manageable. PhaseShift can use embedded artwork or common folder artwork such as cover.jpg, cover.jpeg and cover.png.

Browse by album, artist, song, folder, rating or recently added music. Album tracks can be ordered by their embedded disc and track tags, numbered filenames or title. PhaseShift reads track and disc positions from supported file metadata and can safely recheck an existing library without changing audio files or overwriting intentional edits. Create regular and smart playlists, shuffle your queue, repeat tracks or albums, and use A-B repeat for focused listening. Search your entire collection from one place.

Listening statistics include play counts, history, top tracks, favorite artists, listening time and a personal year in review. Library backup and restore preserve your organization, playlists, ratings, bookmarks and listening data.

PhaseShift works across iPhone, iPad and Mac, with an Apple Watch companion for convenient playback control. AirPlay output is supported for wireless speakers and receivers.

Privacy is built in. PhaseShift does not require an account, does not contain advertising and does not track your listening activity. Your music files and library data remain yours.

Core playback and library management are free. PhaseShift Pro is available as a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks advanced playback, editing, statistics, backup and sync features. There is no subscription.
