Check my liquor is a smartphone application designed exclusively for end consumers in the state of Karnataka to scan and verify the authenticity of the encrypted 2D barcode printed on the Karnataka’s Paper based Excise Adhesive Labels (EALs). Key Features: QR Code Scanning – Quickly scan Encrypted 2D barcode printed on excise adhesive labels. Instant Verification – Get scan results about the authenticity of the scanned QR code on the excise adhesive labels. Scan History - Access details of previous scans in the app’s history section that is locally stored in the device for reference. Training module- Assist end consumers to identify additional security features present on the EAL to distinguish between genuine and fake EAL. Offline Functionality- The app works seamlessly without requiring continuous internet connectivity. User-Friendly Interface – Simple and efficient interface designed for easy use by all end consumers. Privacy: The app does not capture or store mobile numbers, login credentials, or any personal information. The app is an essential consumer tool that promotes transparency and trust in the Karnataka state’s excise system.
