MAIN FEATURES

• See bear sightings on a map Check sightings around you at a glance. The place, date, and urgency of each report are easy to read, so you can check before heading out.

• Post a sighting Seen a bear? Post it right away and add photos to share more detail. You can fine-tune the location on the map so others know exactly where it was.

• Four urgency levels

• Injury: someone was attacked or had contact with a bear

• Sighting: a bear was seen

• Signs: only traces such as footprints or droppings

• Captured: captured or culled by the authorities

• Timeline Follow the latest sightings and local news on the timeline, and connect with the community through comments and likes.

• Filters

• Range: choose from 50km, 100km, 200km, or 500km

• Period: last 24 hours, last week, and more

• Urgency: show only the levels you want

• Max results: adjust for an easier-to-read map

• My Area alerts Register a place such as your home or workplace, and get notified when a bear is seen nearby.

• Profile See your posting history, set a profile photo, and write a short bio. Follow other users to keep up with their posts on the timeline.

• Notifications Get notified in real time about likes, comments, and follows. Tap a notification to jump straight to the post or profile.

• Community

• Block users you don't want to see

• Link your Google or Apple account to keep your data safe
