Not So Live TV

Experience the nostalgia of channel surfing, using your own curated Jellyfin content. But without the cable bills

Not So Live TV is the ironic implementation of the style of live tv for your Jellyfin hosted content. It even includes a TV guide view its the classic early 2000s gradient glory. All you have to do is create your "channels" with content you want and the app will shuffle the episodes or movies to create a simulated television channel so that you have a taste of the old days where you watched what came on and you didn't have to stare at your screen with decision paralysis and hope you figure it out before you finish your take out. And if you choose to dive into the full experience, you can enable retro commercials to run between episodes or even in the middle as well to give you the whole blast of nostalgia! Just source your own retro commercials and put them in a folder on Jellyfin.

All you need is to connect to your Jellyfin account, create and name your channels, and then enjoy. You can always add or remove channels. Currently you cannot mix movies and shows to prevent a nightmare of content selection, but future updates will add better functionality and new features.
