This app was born from collaboration among the cream of the crop of traditionalist movement: Timothy Flanders, Peter K, and Kennedy Hall, and the others. It is a wonderful all-in-one app which shows the result of traditional Catholics of various stripes working together, which gladdens my heart. It has prayers, news, audiobooks, e-books, and podcasts, all of very high quality. I’ve replaced all my social media with just this app and I’ve been really happy with that decision. If you like this, you should also try out the iPieta app, which has a lot of great (and free) resources. Caveat: Be wary of AI-generated content, which can sometimes slip in via guest writers despite the efforts and official policy of the Pelican Crew.

I expected the app to be a little clunky to start out and I was pleasantly surprised that it works so smooth! Videos have speed settings, optional subtitles, are downloadable, and you can leave the app while watching/listening without interruption. I love that the library keeps a log of what I’m listening to so I can easily go back and finish what I started. Most written articles have an audio option and I am loving it! The subscription is worth the money for the Men & Martyrs series alone, very professionally done. We look forward to more episodes! Angela Erickson‘a show is great for keeping up with pro-life issues in the news. The audio recordings of various prayers are so nice. No skipping through ads or chit chat and the quality of the recordings and readers voices are quality. Having all of these great Catholic voices in one place is nice and I’m enjoying listening to people I’ve never heard of before I used the app. I’m even developing a soft spot for the Boomer Church episodes.
