User Reviews

TENNIIX offers powerful, data‑driven training with solid Bluetooth stability and versatile custom drills. Repeated drawbacks include firmware/Bluetooth update problems, mandatory account/login friction, input lag, and a complex UI, plus occasional non‑functional features or unsaved settings. Overall, the app can significantly boost solo practice and progression, but reliability and onboarding UX improvements are needed to realize its full potential.
Pros
  • Flexible training plans and custom drills with data
  • Stable Bluetooth connection and responsive controls
  • Effective solo practice that speeds progress and can replace a hitting partner
  • Updates improve stability and smoothness
  • Ability to save and reuse custom drills
Cons
  • Firmware/Bluetooth update failures block use and prevent firmware updates
  • Mandatory account/login creates onboarding friction and reliability issues
  • Notable input lag between user actions and machine response
  • UI/UX is cluttered/complex and not always intuitive
  • Some features don’t work as expected or settings don’t always save

For anyone buying this machine, I would certainly caution you to check the actual speeds the machine can deliver. I have read reviews online now to know that they advertise false speeds. My unit only delivers balls at 50 mph max, even though I increased my power from 60% - 100% step by step, the wheels keep turning faster, but the ball speeds remain the same when I measured it. It is truly a big scam, if they advertise it at 75 mph top speeds. The app program customization is also a nightmare, can’t adjust any angles, speeds after tapping a target location on court. So it make it very difficult to make custom shots to your liking. No answers from the customer service. Need to know if I got stuck with a bad unit or all of them are the same.

I bought this ball machine over the winter here in Colorado. E we had good weather so I played against the machine quite a bit. Outstanding product and key to me improving my game.
