User Reviews

TENNIIX offers powerful, data‑driven training with solid Bluetooth stability and versatile custom drills. Repeated drawbacks include firmware/Bluetooth update problems, mandatory account/login friction, input lag, and a complex UI, plus occasional non‑functional features or unsaved settings. Overall, the app can significantly boost solo practice and progression, but reliability and onboarding UX improvements are needed to realize its full potential.
Pros
  • Flexible training plans and custom drills with data
  • Stable Bluetooth connection and responsive controls
  • Effective solo practice that speeds progress and can replace a hitting partner
  • Updates improve stability and smoothness
  • Ability to save and reuse custom drills
Cons
  • Firmware/Bluetooth update failures block use and prevent firmware updates
  • Mandatory account/login creates onboarding friction and reliability issues
  • Notable input lag between user actions and machine response
  • UI/UX is cluttered/complex and not always intuitive
  • Some features don’t work as expected or settings don’t always save

Landing calibration:When selecting “short serve” as in “serve is short” the app makes it even shorter. “Higher serve” works as expected though. The x is so small, impossible to see when the sun is bright. After calibrating machine on baseline, the training mode pic shows machine in between serve and baseline. It’s not even one of the positions recommended in the manual. The balls fly short with the default settings. It’s my third session, Im still struggling with the thing. Also some balls fly much higher.
