User Reviews

LibreArm is widely praised as a cloud-free, life-saving replacement for Qardio Arm, delivering quick pairing, a simple interface, and Apple Health syncing on iPhone and iPad. Users value its independence from the manufacturer’s cloud and the way it revives aging hardware. Main downsides are occasional authentication/connection issues that require resets, data discrepancies between LibreArm and Apple Health, and rare erroneous startup readings on some devices. Overall, it’s a highly helpful, free solution that greatly extends the hardware’s usefulness.
Pros
  • Revives Qardio Arm hardware and enables offline use without the Qardio cloud
  • Fast pairing and a simple, easy-to-use interface; works well on iPhone and iPad
  • Seamless Apple Health integration with optional syncing
  • Cloud-free operation and extending the device's life; praised as life-saving
  • Simple, straightforward design that often outperforms the original app
Cons
  • Occasional authentication/connection issues requiring a device reset
  • Discrepancies between LibreArm readings and Apple Health (e.g., average value not matching Health)
  • Occasional anomalous readings or startup/start measurement failures on certain devices

I found my old Qardio Arm in a drawer and decided to use it only to find out that the app no longer works. This LibreArm app worked flawlessly first time. I love the simplicity. Well done!

I was really aggravated when the Qardio platform stopped working. I’m grateful that you created this app. Now for the scale.
