Features & Capabilities

inpairs is a Chrome extension designed for Muslims seeking a serious path to marriage. It replaces endless swiping with a privacy-first, drop-based approach that presents a curated set of profiles in intentional waves (Drops) based on shared values, culture, lifestyle, and preferences.

Key features include Curated Matching, Privacy First, Drop-based Matching, and Match-only interaction. The app emphasizes safety, respect, and meaningful connections, with no public visibility or addictive feeds. When there is mutual interest, couples can move forward off-app at their own pace.

User Reviews

Reviewers praise inpairs for its serious, marriage-focused approach, no-swiping model, and compatibility-based matching driven by thorough questionnaires. The app’s user-friendly UI and perceived authenticity are frequently noted. Major downsides are a pay-to-use model with refund disputes, limited or low-quality matches, and recurring technical issues like login errors and outages. Overall, users value its halal intent and structured matching but cite cost, match quality, and stability as key drawbacks.
Pros
  • Marriage-focused design with no swiping and a halal approach to finding a spouse.
  • Compatibility-based matching guided by deep questionnaires and comprehensive preferences.
  • User-friendly, visually appealing UI/UX that’s easy to use.
  • Perceived authenticity with fewer fake profiles and a serious, genuine community.
  • Responsive, genuine support from the app team.
Cons
  • Pay-to-use model with upfront costs and disputes over refunds or charges.
  • Low match rate and inconsistent match quality, with long gaps and unsuitable suggestions.
  • Technical reliability issues, including login errors and server outages.
Recent reviews
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this app was very disappointing. The onboarding process takes a long time, with countless questions about your values, lifestyle, and spouse preferences. You naturally assume that all of this information will be used to provide high-quality, compatible matches. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. After paying for a subscription, I waited nearly 20 days and received only three matches. Two of them did not meet one of my clearly stated non-negotiable preferences (wearing hijab), and the third was from another country, even though I was looking for someone in the United States. Calling these “potential matches” doesn’t make sense when they ignore the basic preferences I specifically provided. Another issue is transparency. The App Store listing doesn’t make it obvious that many of the app’s core features require a paid subscription. Users spend a significant amount of time completing the profile, only to discover at the end that they need to pay. After investing both time and money, I expected much better results. I’ve used other Muslim matrimonial apps that provide more relevant matches and better value. Based on my experience, this app did not meet my expectations, and I can’t recommend paying for a subscription unless the matching system becomes much more accurate and transparent.

I don’t use IG. I am on LinkedIn though, why didn’t you give me the option to use my LinkedIn? LinkedIn should absolutely be an option alongside IG.
