LexiSponge is a place to collect the words you meet, decide what matters, and keep learning them across your daily life.

LexiSponge is a vocabulary-first language learning app built around a simple idea: every new word you meet should have a place to go. Start with an empty vocabulary page and build your own language "second brain". Add words manually, or capture them from the things you already read, watch, hear, and photograph. LexiSponge helps turn text, images, camera captures, and recordings into vocabulary you can organize, review, and remember.

LexiSponge uses FSRS v6, a modern spaced-repetition algorithm designed to schedule reviews when they are most useful, so you can spend more time learning and less time deciding what to study next.

Smart Subtitles: LexiSponge’s experimental Smart Subtitles are designed for real listening practice. Instead of translating every sentence, you can focus only on selected words: show translations for words marked as Learning or Unknown, and keep the rest out of the way. This helps you listen to the original language, follow what is being said, and notice the vocabulary you are actively learning.
