Easy Calculation of Thermal Road Repairs Carbon Footprint

Thermal-IQ enables the calculation of the carbon footprint of thermal repair works. When used in conjunction with Asphalt-IQ's patented Smart A-Tags and digital smartcards. Thermal-IQ enables fast, accurate carbon calculation of all thermal repairs from potholes to large patches of road. Its unique, GPS enabled, distance tracking system allows for accurate , multi-site carbon accounting which delivers a fully auditable carbon record. Traditional asphalt carbon calculation tools are very complex and there is no single international standard model. Thermal-IQ's Calculator is designed to be the quickest and simplest method of evaluating the emissions. The carbon emissions data and calculation algorithms used in Thermal-IQ are sourced from several internationally recognised road infrastructure carbon calculation tools. Asphalt-IQ has aggregated the data into convenient, relevant, emissions categories and uses standard statistical analysis principles to present the carbon emissions total. The calculation is typically completed inside 2 minutes from opening the App. The Thermal-IQ system also compares the carbon emissions of a thermal road repair against a conventional asphalt repair and illustrates the carbon saved on every project.
