Fire Safety Awareness

An on-the-go information app to help workers in social care when they are assessing fire risks in the home of people they support.

The Fire Safety Awareness app, a collaboration with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), supports workers with handy information all on this one phone app. The app covers things to look out for when assessing if someone requires an assessment with SFRS and how more information on how to do this if someone that is receiving support may need some help. You can also use the Hoardings CIRS to compare a persons home versus what can be seen in the app to be able to more confidently assess if a home is low, medium or high risk.
