MedEtra is a simple, private health log for individuals, parents, and caregivers who want organised health records without giving up their data.

Key Features

• Multiple Profiles – Keep each person's records separate. Free: 2 profiles. Premium: 10.
• Temperature Tracking & Graphs – Log readings in °C or °F and view trends with easy-to-read graphs.
• Medication Records – Record medications with dose, strength, form, timing, and notes. Review recent doses at a glance. Archive medications you no longer take.
• Reminders (Beta, Premium) – Set as many recurring reminders as you need to take a medication or a temperature, from the dose screen or the Reminders page. Stored locally and not included in Device Sync.
• Symptom Tracking – Define the symptoms you want to follow and log each occurrence. Premium: add notes and select details, such as marking a headache as a migraine.
• Health Notes – Capture observations and details with timestamps.
• Timeline View – See temperatures, medications, notes, and reminders in one chronological stream.
• AI Summaries (Beta, Premium) – Turn a date range into a short written summary. Generated on your device using Apple Intelligence, so nothing is sent to a server. Requires a supported device.
• Works Offline (Beta) – Once you've created a profile, MedEtra works without an internet connection.
• PDF Reports (Premium) – Generate a PDF with temperature graphs, filtered by entry type and date range, ideal for sharing with a doctor.
• Data Export – Back up all your data as a structured ZIP file at any time. Available to all tiers.
• Privacy First – No accounts required. No usage analytics or behavioural tracking. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) help us fix bugs, no health data included.

Device Sync (Beta) Sync across your iCloud-connected devices via Apple's private CloudKit database, encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest. Enable Device Sync globally, then choose which profiles to sync. Move profiles between local-only and iCloud-backed storage at any time. Available on Premium.

Privacy & Security No account or email required. Nothing leaves your device unless you enable Device Sync. AI summaries are generated on your device, never in the cloud. Export your data at any time.

Independently Built MedEtra is built by an independent UK developer, not a data company. No investors pushing for your data, no ads to serve, and no plans to change that. • Free – Up to 2 profiles, full access to core features including data export and offline mode (Beta).
• Premium – Everything in Free, plus up to 10 profiles and every feature marked Premium above. Some premium features are still in development. Features marked as Beta may change or be removed in future updates.
