User Reviews

Users laud JigglyPaint for its easy, playful drawing experience, customizable palettes, and value as a one-time purchase with a friendly community. Recurrent drawbacks involve persistence of palettes, need for higher-resolution exports, cramped UI, brush size inconsistencies, and occasional save-to-Photos issues on some devices. Overall, it’s a fun, approachable app with notable room for improvement in storage, export options, and brush behavior.
Pros
  • Easy to pick up and draw thanks to its simple, intuitive interface.
  • Playful wiggle animation and sound effects make drawing feel fun and satisfying.
  • Users can create and organize their own color palettes, and palettes are a major draw.
  • One-time purchase offers good value compared to subscription models.
  • Bright, friendly community and active updates improve the app over time.
Cons
  • Palettes do not reliably persist across sessions; no account-backed palette saves.
  • Export quality is low; users want higher resolution exports (e.g., 2000x2000 or higher).
  • UI can feel cramped; desire to hide top/bottom bars for more drawing space.
  • Brush/tool inconsistencies: some brushes don’t change size as expected, output can be dot-like or choppy.
  • Saving drawings to Photos can fail on certain devices (e.g., iPad mini 6) or similar save issues.
Recent reviews
tries to improve on the web version by allowing custom palettes, but implements them very poorly (if you close the app, it deletes your custom palettes. what's the point of having a palette save button if they don't carry between sessions??? what are you saving??????) many buttons are untranslated or poorly translated which makes navigating the already clunky UI an even greater challenge. the most unintuitive layout I've ever seen in an app, picking colors should not be this tedious for six bucks. genuinely just use the free web version, this isn't worth the headache.

The devs just made an update that doesn’t stop the AI problem. This is an ART APP, AI shouldNOT be allowed anywhere in this app! I will encourage other people to share their thoughts in the reviews because I know most/a lot of us artists that use the app are not okay with AI.
