NEW IN THIS VERSION (1.4) — PROOF OF DELIVERY

This update adds proof-of-delivery photo capture. When a driver completes a delivery, the app opens the camera so they can photograph the delivered item at the address. The photo and its location are recorded and sent to the customer as delivery confirmation.

To test: sign in as the Driver (+44 1234 567891). An in-progress delivery is already assigned and waiting — pickup at 10 Downing Street, London SW1A 2AA, delivery to 1 Canada Square, London E14 5AB. Open the trip and tap Complete Delivery. The camera opens for the proof-of-delivery photo.

Permissions requested and why

• Camera (NSCameraUsageDescription) — to take the proof-of-delivery photo
• Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription / NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription) — to attach or save a delivery photo
• Location When In Use (NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription) — to record where the delivery photo was taken, confirming the parcel reached the correct address

All permissions are used solely for proof of delivery. Nothing is collected in the background, and no data is shared with third parties beyond the customer receiving their own delivery confirmation.

ACCOUNT DELETION (Guideline 5.1.1(v))

Account deletion is available in-app to all users: Profile → Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm.

Note: an account with a delivery currently in progress cannot be deleted until that delivery completes, and this is explained to the user on screen. The demo rider and driver accounts have an in-progress delivery assigned so the proof-of-delivery feature above can be tested, so deletion on those two accounts will correctly report a delivery in progress.
