MAVO COFFEE

I made the decision to support the Lumicurve scale on Kickstarter because it looked like a really cool scale for a coffee enthusiast. And it is exactly that. The problem is that I broke my own rule of never buying current technology on the promise of future upgrades. Everyone on Kickstarter has had their scale for months now and they're even for sale on Amazon. Yet the app still just serves as a way to do firmware updates. You get all the data on your brews that a coffee nerd could ever want and there's still no way to transmit that information anywhere but the scales internal memory. Memory so vast that it saves a whopping three brews before it starts overwriting. There are already apps that connect with other coffee scales out there, so Mavo didn't even have to build one from scratch. They just had to make it capable of syncing with other apps and machines that already exist. But nope. Nothing. So until they make the effort to provide what they said, they can enjoy having a one star rating here and on Amazon until they fulfill their promises.

I like the idea that you can perform firmware updates, but I’d like to see the history graphs able to download and see them in the same fashion as on the device itself. That would be a big plus.
