User Reviews

Users generally praise accurate, fast coin identification and a clean, beginner-friendly interface with useful coin data and learning resources. However, many reviews repeatedly report billing and refund problems after cancellation, along with weak customer support, and a few note occasional misidentifications or data errors. These pain points contrast with the app's strengths for collectors who prioritize ID speed and data.
Pros
  • Accurate and fast coin identification via photo recognition.
  • Clean, beginner-friendly interface and layout.
  • Detailed coin data for each coin and helpful sorting of large collections.
  • Educational articles and guidance within the app.
Cons
  • Billing and refund issues after cancellation, including charges for subscriptions and delays in refunds.
  • Poor or inaccessible customer support (few ways to contact, slow/no responses).
  • Occasional misidentifications or incorrect coin data (e.g., wrong dates or IDs).

Scanned some coins and it’s really inaccurate. First off, scanned a one ounce silver coin and it said it was worth $33. This is back when silver spot price was about $90. Also, it can’t tell you the composition of most coins which makes it pretty useless. I was trying to scan some foreign coins I had to see if any were silver. It would name a pricing range but not composition. I had to manually look up any coins I thought might be silver. Most of the values are wildly off. Found some that it claimed were worth $50+ only to see them sell for $5 on eBay. On the other hand, it wayyyyy undervalued anything silver.
