Although the initial screen implies there is a free-with-ads version of this game by advertising an "ad-free premium membership" version of the game, there is no free version or even a paid version. You must make a crunchyroll account and sign up for their monthly subscription service to play. If you are willing to do that, then you should play this game: This is not a fly-by-night trash app developer game. It's a classic and a lot of fun. If I were rating the actual game alone, I would rate it at least 4 stars. If crunchyroll ever made this a one-time pay download without the subscription obligation, I would buy it in a second. Until then, nope. Just get the old-school computer version for free somewhere else. This one is just a marketing tool for the monthly subscription.

2026-03-30	Am*****	I’m trying to enjoy this game and I think I would really like it but the problem is every time I leave the app if I want to reopen it I have to sign back into Crunchyroll, which is extremely annoying since it’s not one tap process please fix

2026-03-14	Fo*****	The app doesn’t load past the Crunchyroll logo screen. I was super looking forward to being able to play this from my phone whenever I want. I still play princess maker games on steam to this day, so was really sad to not see it load at all.
