I played the first game on repeat and loved it, it just needed more levels and perhaps a bigger tech tree. This has a lot of the same charm and some improvements to the tech tree though it still looks to be somewhat limited. How about having some new towers we can earn and then develop? Fairly simple graphics with a focus on gameplay. Which honestly is the way it should be IMHO. Requires you to do a lot of ‘resetting your tech tree’ and focusing what you research on a specific mission. That process gets cumbersome as you have to manually choose each and every item and research again for the 15th time. Would be nice if there was a one click ‘max this tower out’ button. I think some more diversity in the types of towers and their capabilities would add to the game a lot. There is nothing that can target both air and ground units for example. Some more widely varied towers would allow the strategy used to be explored and played with instead of making me feel like I just have to do the same basic strategy over and over again. And what happened to the range extender tower from the first game? Why don’t sniper bullets hit multiple terrain targets like in the first game instead of stopping at the first one now? That is a bit of the feedback I’d offer and would love to see addressed. It’s almost an awesome game. It’s definitely good. It could be great.
