We used bolt to go to the Amsterdam airport from Rotterdam. A 76 USD ride. When we got about 10 minutes from the airport, the driver pulled into a Mc Donald’s and told us he was putting us in another taxi due to “controls” at the airport. Mind you, the entire hour long drive there he was scrolling his Instagram and texting on his phone while his car sounded like it was about to explode. (Every indicator light was on, check engine, airbag, tire pressure, etc). Anyways, he tells us he’s putting us in another taxi due to “controls” at the airport. The controls turned out to be that they were checking licenses of taxis. He told us, he did not have a license!! When we contacted bolt, they refused to give even a partial refund and just said “you won’t get that driver again”
