Protecting the OCU community is our top priority. Star Safe is the official safety app of Oklahoma City University, designed to give students, faculty, and staff instant access to campus safety resources.

Star Safe key features include:

• Mobile Bluelight / Panic Button: In an emergency, instantly send your real-time location to the OCU Police Department with a single tap.

• Friend Walk & Virtual WalkHome: Use Friend Walk to share your live location with a trusted contact via email or text, so they can virtually accompany you to your destination. For a higher level of security, use Virtual WalkHome to have an OCUPD dispatcher monitor your walk until you arrive safely.

• Tip Reporting & Live Chat: Report safety and security concerns directly to OCUPD. You can also use the Live Chat** feature to communicate with safety staff in real time.

• Safety Toolbox: Access a suite of useful safety tools in one place, including Emergency Contacts,Emergency Plans that work offline, and a quick way to let others know "I'm OK!" with your current location.

• Safety Notifications:Get instant alerts and instructions from OCUPD about on-campus emergencies.
