Probably the only solution for RAW exposure bracketing on iOS. I was expecting high, yet the result is basically not usable. Combining multiple CR3 RAW photos does not preserve bright areas at all, even with quality priority selected. Not sure if those underexposed ones were indeed processed. Moreover, the "bracketing" also creates mysterious purple hues around all items captured in my photo. On the other hand, combining multiple Canon JPGs will simply crash the app again and again. Wish I could have a refund.

So this app is about as close to a merge-to-HDR solution for exposure bracketing as I've seen anything come so far, at least as far as iOS apps are concerned.
However it's a little disappointing that it won't detect RAW format images in the Photo Library and will save as JPG. You have to move them to the Files app for it to recognize a DNG and merge to a TIFF.
It should allow you to choose between JPG or DNG (if available) for images in the Photo Library, as well as allow you to choose your output file format. If the dev can add those two things, easy 5 star.
I'll be sure to update my review if that change is made.

I found Brackt last week and was immediately impressed. The first couple of images I created during the free trial were genuinely great—full resolution, sharp, and visually impressive. It actually surprised me how good the results were right out of the gate.
Because of that, I didn’t hesitate to purchase the lifetime license for $90. That’s not exactly impulse-buy territory for most apps, but the early results made it feel justified.
Unfortunately, everything fell apart after upgrading.
Once I unlocked the full version, the app started exporting images at a very low resolution (around 960x360), making them basically unusable compared to the high-quality outputs I got during the trial. That alone completely undermines the value of the app. It also completely fails to import RAW files, which is a pretty major limitation for anyone even remotely serious about photo editing.
On top of that, there’s a noticeable licensing glitch where the app briefly thinks I’m still on the trial every time I open it before correcting itself. Not a dealbreaker on its own, but it doesn’t inspire confidence.
I reached out to the developer with a detailed email explaining the issue and didn’t receive any response after a full week. That’s the part that stings the most. Bugs happen, especially with newer apps, but silence after a paid purchase is hard to overlook.
This app clearly has a lot of potential. The results I saw during the trial prove that. But right now, the post-purchase experience feels broken, and the low-resolution exports and lack of RAW support make it unusable in its current state.
I really hope the developer addresses these issues soon, because I’d genuinely like to keep using it. As it stands, though, it’s hard to recommend until the core functionality is fixed and support improves.
