Cat Scratches

Cat Scratches is a Safari extension for sending clean website text to Drafts. It can also use the Share Sheet for Notes, Mail, Messages, and other apps. Automatically extract the main article body, or select text to clip a passage.

Use it to: • Send the page title, source URL, and text to Drafts • Save captures to Notes or other apps through the Share Sheet • Convert captures to readable Markdown • Choose templates, tags, and cleanup settings

How it works:

1. Enable the Cat Scratches Safari extension
2. Open a webpage in Safari
3. Run Cat Scratches
4. Review or edit the capture in Drafts, Notes, or another app

Cat Scratches only reads a page when you run the extension. It does not track browsing history or collect data. Source code is available at https://github.com/ddegner/cat-scratches.
