Bus Suite Parent is a comprehensive bus tracking system that enables them to track their child’s school bus route in real time. More transparency and peace of mind for everyone.

Live bus tracking: Parents track the bus in real time on an aerial map view. To protect student privacy, they will no longer see the bus’s location once the route ends.
Multiple children: Parents can manage multiple children using the same app, regardless of their school or route.
Notifications: Parents configure their real-time notifications as their children board or exit the bus.
ETA: Parents are notified with an ETA for their stop is coming up so they can save time and avoid unnecessary waiting time.
Route info: Parents have complete route information with all stops, ETAs, and so on. If they miss their stop, they know when and where the next stop will be.
Guardians: Enroll guardians and other family members so each can track their children if they need.

Note: Bus Suite Parent works with the Bus Suite Driver app, which resides on the bus. If your district uses Zonar Z Pass®, additional notification data may be provided such as the student boarding & exiting the bus. Students’ boarding and exiting is managed through Z Pass, which is completely touchless. Manual check-ins and check-outs are allowed on the driver app only in case the child is not carrying their student card.

Bus information not always available when it should. Notifications sometimes work, mostly don't. Notifications do not seem to be programmed by native English speakers. I get messages like "Bus has arrived at previous stop:[name of school" and at the exact same moment get another notification that "Bus has reached at stop: [name of school]". Huh? Has arrived at previous stop? And what does reached at stop mean? Another issue. I get a notification that a bus (it doesn't say which one, or for which child - this is an issue on top of an issue) arrived somewhere. In an ideal world, i would click on that link and it would take me to the bus route so i can see what's going on. What actually happens? I go to the notifications screen. To see the notification that i was already notitied of. And if i want to see the bus, i have to choose which bus route that i want to see from a drop down menu. This make no sense. Have the developers actually used their own app? Have they used a well functioning app before? Did they have actual people use this before they released it? It's a no to all three questions i think. Great idea, not well implemented yet, will be happy to re-rate once they get their act together.

Our school district just started using this program for their buses. The first week it was down for issues. In the second week it works, however my app is tracking the wrong bus. They have the wrong transponder tied to my kids’ route because it never actually goes to their stops and really runs the opposite direction. I know this may be a district issue but the real problem is that there is no error or issue reporting mechanism. There should be a way to submit something like “Issue with this route” or “problem with this bus tracker”. There is no point of contact to resolve the issue so the app is effectively useless. Also, functionally if you are looking at the map and try to zoom in on the school or a bus stop, it will spontaneously shift the map to focus on the bus again. While I understand centering on the bus, hijacking the map navigation is a poor way to do it. Maybe add some buttons for center map on bus and center map on stop/school. One star until they add some sort of issue reporting mechanism.
