After setting up Apple Family Sharing and installing the app on the child’s device, parents can review secure dashboard screenshots captured about once per minute while screen recording is active. Monitor activity across Messages, web browsers, YouTube, Roblox, Instagram, Snapchat, and more.

Designed to be difficult to bypass, LivingRoom can help families understand a child’s online world, discuss internet safety, and create healthier screen-time boundaries. Trusted apps can be added to Apple’s Always Allowed settings and the LivingRoom dashboard. Phone calls are always allowed, while some copyright-protected streaming apps, including Disney+ and Netflix, may work but cannot be monitored.
