RTE777 V2.0

he purpose of this app is to enable the participants, which are car workshops and adjusters to submit photos and videos on damaged vehicles for insurance reports. Our intended audience are car workshops and adjusters, initially in Malaysia. This app is given free to all participants. Only participants invited by RTE777 will be given an account. This app requires Internet connectivity, as well as access to camera, microphone and location services. App user can only see items assigned to him/her. Item assignment is done in a separate application.

Workshops/adjusters use this app to take photos/videos of vehicle damages. These media will then be uploaded to server where users can view and submit to respective insurance companies. The location info is tagged to photo/video info in database, for easy information access where media were taken, and to make sure media are not reused in a different claim. The location info is not used to track user whereabouts in any way.

Taking photo/video evidence of vehicular damages AND uploading them is the sole function of the app. Users are already informed of the function and required permissions when they signed up or were asked to use the app. Nevertheless, we have modified the permission alerts to make it clearer for first time users.
