BD Cato™ ReadyMed is intended to be used for logistical purposes in the course of medication administration to display information for organizational planning purposes and for documentation of the administration.

BD Cato™ ReadyMed is used to:

• display the preparation status of a prescribed medication for organizational planning purposes • document the administration of previously prescribed and prepared medications • check the information on the label of the prepared medication with a barcode reader
