View each pattern on a dark-hull 3D ship at night and drag to rotate around it to see the lights from dead ahead, bow, beam, quarter and astern. See a clear, plain-language COLREG rule overview for every pattern, linked to Rules 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31. Check exactly which physical lights are fitted with a breakdown of masthead, sidelights, sternlight, towing light and all-round signal lights.
