SwipeSpeak is a powerful assistive communication app. Built with simplicity and speed in mind, it transforms eye gestures into words and sentences—enabling fast, low-effort communication through a partner’s touch.

Originally developed by Team Gleason and released as open-source under the MIT license, SwipeSpeak is a research-driven prototype that pioneers a new interaction style. How it works:

• The speaker uses eye gestures (up, down, left, right) to indicate letters. • A communication partner swipes on the phone in the direction of the speaker’s gaze. • SwipeSpeak predicts words in real-time using a smart text engine. • Confirm or reject words using simple eye winks or gestures.
