User Reviews

I just found this site and app and I’m excited to use it for my collection. I rated it 4 stars because it’s missing some usability features that would help with manual work. It would be helpful to have a bulk upload option for photos and have a specimen created with the file name as the specimen title. I couldn’t find anything showing what dimensions photos need to be to look their best as thumbnails. The ones I tried were cropped and didn’t look right. In the app it would be nice to be able to sort by title (unless I just can’t find it)

This is a fantastic app to help bring mineral collectors into the new century. It is simple yet works well and covers most fields that you would want. I only rated a 4/5 as I hope in the future for additional fields to be added, such as these: 1) chemical formula (would be so sweet if this was searchable…), 2) crystal habit(s), 3) Mineral Group (eg Copper Carbonate; Fluorescent; etc etc); year acquired/year of purchase price (to help assess value appreciation), prior collection(s), etc. Overall I still love this app & would recommend to any collector.
