It’s basically a “Non-Motion” Sensor Alert App that sends an emergency email to concerned parties if the app user stops moving. The basic premise is, it can be used by field workers on hazardous work, such as construction explosive experts, exploration scientists, volcanic/seismic investigators, and the like. Once the app is started, it monitors the movements of the user. Should the user’s movements stop due to an accident or any emergency incident, the app automatically sends an emergency alert email to persons concerned. Man Down Alert can even have man down timeouts, from minutes up to a day. Say if after an hour, no movement is detected, it sends out an emergency alert. Feature setting sensitivity can also be configured to detect heartbeats, trip tracking, and other movements.
