The myRedkite portal is where you can access all of Redkite’s childhood cancer support services. 

‘myRedkite’ is a dedicated app designed to provide parents, carers, young people affected by cancer, and their extended families with easy access to Redkite's full range of support services. Tailored to your needs at each stage of a child's cancer journey, myRedkite helps you navigate the challenges of diagnosis, treatment, and life beyond, with all the support you need right at your fingertips. 

Why use myRedkite?   myRedkite simplifies access to Redkite’s critical services, offering a secure, private space for users to manage and update their support needs. Whether you're applying for financial assistance, participating in online courses, or connecting with a community of other families, the app provides a central hub for managing all aspects of your support journey. 

Redkite’s Support Services: 

Financial Assistance  For eligible families, myRedkite provides access to financial support for household bills and grocery/fuel vouchers, helping ease the financial burden during this difficult time. 

Book Club  Explore over 80 books through the Redkite Book Club, offering valuable insights for children, parents, and carers about childhood cancer, coping strategies, and emotional resilience. 

eLearning Modules  Refresh Kids' Eating: A self-paced program with practical tips, healthy recipes, and activities to help parents encourage healthy eating as their child finishes treatment.  Redkite Music Box: An online collection of musical resources that support children in expressing themselves and managing the emotional challenges of cancer.  WorkCompanion: A program designed for parents and carers to balance work and caregiving, with guidance on returning to work during or after their child’s treatment.  CatNap: A flexible, multi-component program that offers practical, evidence-based strategies for improving sleep and self-care for parents. 

Group Support  Join Redkite Coffee Groups and Connect Groups to share experiences with other parents and carers in a safe, understanding space. These peer-support groups provide a sense of community and emotional connection during challenging times. 

Dare to Dream Scholarship  Eligible young people can apply for a Dare to Dream Scholarship, which helps teenagers with cancer pursue their dreams—whether in education, creative fields, or personal goals. 

Bereavement Support  For families who have lost a child, the app offers access to bereavement packs, funeral grants, and grief support groups, helping you find comfort and practical support through a difficult time. 

 Stay Informed  By keeping your details up to date, you ensure Redkite can support you at every step. You’ll receive notifications about new programs, services, and updates, ensuring you don’t miss any opportunities for help. 

Secure Support  The myRedkite app is designed with your privacy and security in mind. Only families who are eligible for Redkite's services can access the app, ensuring that support is provided where it's needed most. You can also grant access to your hospital social worker to allow your treatment team to coordinate support on your behalf.
