Nori - Scan your food

This developer ran a promotion in their prove it app called a wellness bundle which I paid for. The 29.99 wellness bundle was supposed to give me free 1 year full access to this Nori app & eden (two other apps this developer makes). The in app promotion did not work and the app charged me full price. I told the developer & they said it was a mistake the promotion didn't work as advertised. So they said to get a refund from Apple & aplle said no. Now this developer has ghosted me and keep all my money. This is a horrible company & horrible customer service. After they take your money they don't care. Don't download this app try Yuka they run by two brothers & they care more about their 1 app and their brand name. This Nori app developers are too big & won't help if there's a issue they caused.

App told me it would charge me 0.99 cents per week, which would come to $59.99 per year, which that price should already include tax as there are 52 weeks in a year and when doing the MATH that comes to $51.48, if being charged truly 0.99 cents a week. So the $59.99 should completely and 100% cover tax (which I am not sure why we are being taxed on apps now?!). The app does not have information on about 90% of the things I scan like my YUKA app does that I pay $8 a year for. Beware of new apps and scams like this one. I have been in contact with not only the company but Apple and have been denied a refund without an explanation as to why. Apple 100% fully supports app creators to lie to consumers and take any amount of money out of your account without disclosing the total amount when purchasing. Maybe they have changed this?! I would t know, because I will NEVER make this mistake again. Not only does Apple support these yahoo’s but they also shut down my phone until I paid it, as I cancelled it right away because the amount of money pulled was not what was disclosed. Then made me wait 2-3 days to find out if I could receive a refund (which a computer system determines FYI, not an actual person) and then deny my refund without explanation. Apple and this creator should be ashamed of themselves. $65.24 for an APP that does not even have all the information it claims to have is insane. If I can prevent someone from making the same mistake as I did, I will. I will use every resource to ensure that people know how things are going down now-a-days by these app creators who just want to scam people for their money and don’t disclose all the information.
