What makes NCG Top 100s different is our transparent, course-first methodology. We assess layouts as they play, welcome 9-hole and 12-hole gems, and only consider cost when a list is explicitly labelled “Value.” Accessibility doesn’t affect inclusion; the course is still the course.

Each ranking season runs from late March to late October, ensuring courses are evaluated in peak condition. Panels commit to actively playing longlisted venues, and our process is visible and accountable to the clubs involved.
