Schemo Football

This idea for the app is great but the lessons it’s teaching are just… missing some key things. For example, 3 days if it gives a Quarters lesson and says Quarters’ main goal is to guard against deep passes. That’s just wrong. It guards the deep-intermediate area of the field. One of quarters’ biggest weaknesses is deep passes because of its pattern matching principles. It’s as if the person making the quiz just looked at the picture and decided that it guards deep. The same happens with fire zones. Saying that fire zones are always 3 deep and 3 short defenders is just plain wrong. Just watch one Brian Flores coached game. How would someone learning from this app even be able to break down that tape and understand what’s happening given even a half-hour per play? I hope things like this can get fixed because it could be a great way to get average fans to understand and appreciate the game more deeply, but the execution right now is lacking. If the game ups its actual ball knowledge then I’d give it 4 stars but right now? 2.

What a great idea to have young athletes grasp and learn the game of football. I’m a former collegiate athlete and I can’t help but appreciate the effort and knowledge that this app has brought into the young learners of the sport. It is an immersive experience that can be applied on the field for coaches, parents, or anyone that wants to be involved. The app is extremely efficient and user friendly. I’ve been happy to share it with the younger generation and I truly believe it is a great model for years to come. Excellent work Schemo glad to use it and have others learn the game!
