This would have been a good app if anything were available without payment. The only thing you can do without paying is journal. Zero help. App makes you go thru all the prompts, captures your email to spam later, then finally tells you to pay to unlock every feature. Garbage.

I am so excited to start this spring foraging season with this app conveniently at my side. It is so thorough in its description including fruit, leaf & flower descriptions and season!! Specific to my local area wit reminders!! And so much more; I can’t believe it; a dream come true! And by a brilliant forager I’ve followed for years and trust completely. 🙏🏽 So grateful 🙏🏽

Gather is basically like having a woodland friend in your pocket that helps you find cool stuff without accidentally eating something that sends you to meet your ancestors. Super easy to use, fun, and actually makes foraging feel way less intimidating. 10/10, would trust this app before trusting my own ‘pretty sure that’s a mushroom’ instincts.
