Cell Survivor - Shoot Defense

I’ve been playing and yeah like all of these games there are ads. At first nothing, no bother but like the rest, once you get to a point you get bombarded with purchases that it takes up most of the screen. I’m aware cause that happens with most games because it’s all a cash cow for them. Micro transactions that aren’t micro prices but outrageous prices for “nothing” truly nothing. BUT the two minute ads now? The fact a ad still happens when you don’t click on any ads for a bonus when you complete a level now, so you skip on the bonus but MUST still watch a ad? The multi ads in a ad? The interaction ads that are timed intervals where you must proceed to the next ad and the next before you can actually quit the ad?!?!?!? I can’t wait til they make it so you must watch multiple, five minute interactive ads just to load the game and then after that more and more ads. Not even a game at all just a program that plays ads described as a game with the fake game play ads. Or the game that you get ads for the same game…. Wait this one did that with its other “medieval” version. I literally got a ad for that other version not long after I downloaded this game, that was being advertised on other games….

Update to my review. Lowered to 1 star: The Ads are getting worse. Each ad is 1-2 minutes long with multiple parts. Wait 45 seconds. Click several times. Wait another 10 seconds. Click. Then wait 1 minute. Click. Wait 5-10 seconds. Click. Then resume game. Not even worth playing. It’s absurd that the devs have such obnoxious ads to force either a monthly purchase of $6-10 (can’t recall exact amount) or a one time of $40. Legendary games like Candy Crush realize that ads should be short and non-essential to normal play. I’m ok with some ads but when the over 50% of your game time is ads and each is 1-2 minutes long it’s definitely not worth it. Cannot recommend this game unless devs reduce Ad time significantly. Many alternatives that are less annoying to play. It took me less time to write this entire review than a single Ad in the game. And you can expect 8-10 per level (8-10 Ads within a 10 minute span). May as well just watch Ads play and not bother with a game. At least then you can zone out and relax. —— Genuinely fun game BUT there are way too many and long ads. For example on any one level you will likely watch 5-7 ads each 1-2 minutes long. Ads for choosing different upgrade, ads for more than one upgrade, ads for reviving, ads for spinning for upgrades, and ads after finishing the level. Ads may be necessary but def don’t need to be long 1-2 min ads and so frequent that it’s becomes unpleasant to play the game. Will prob play a bit and move on. Unfortunate because the game itself is fun - just that the ads are way too much.
