The Kares Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering teens and young adults to make safer, smarter choices. Our mission is to prevent avoidable tragedies caused by peer pressure, drinking and driving, and online exploitation by equipping at-risk youth with the knowledge and tools to shape a better future.

Through speaking engagements, scholarships, and hands-on programs like Kamp Kares, we create spaces for healing, learning, and growth. Participants in our Kids’ Life Program gain essential life skills such as budgeting, credit building, job readiness, decision-making, and more.

We believe in meeting youth where they are, offering both support and accountability. Students who complete the program and maintain their progress may be rewarded with transformative experiences beyond their daily environment, like a trip to Disneyland or similar life-expanding opportunities.

The Kares Foundation logo holds deep meaning, symbolizing strength, love, and protection — inspired by the story that sparked our founding. Every element of our organization is rooted in real stories, real people, and a real commitment to change.
