The title says it all. They promise a 1-week free trial so that you can decide whether you want to subscribe, but the particular in-app purchase they use may not include the free trial, and if it doesn’t, Apple won’t refund it.

The title says it all. They offered me a free trial and then charged me right away. I canceled within 30 minutes, but it's still showing that it's good for a year. If you're not sure you're going to like the app, you'd be better off looking for one that either has some free functionality or actually gives you a free trial. Update: Apple will not approve a refund since the in-app purchase used did not include a free trial, despite the promise of one. So don't start a subscription unless you're sure you want it.
