I stayed with StayInn three weeks ago and was required to leave a $50 security deposit. At check-out, I was told it would be refunded within 7 days. It has now been three full weeks, and they still have not returned my money. Every time I called for an update, first after a week, then repeatedly every few days, they gave me continuous excuses ("give us two days," "we have a problem right now") without taking any real action. To make matters worse, during my most recent call, the staff completely hung up on me instead of handling the issue professionally. Holding customer funds indefinitely and hanging up on clients is completely unacceptable behavior for a hospitality business. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.
