User Reviews

Zig – Connect the Numbers is praised for addictive, easy-to-pick-up puzzles and a sleek, well-made presentation, but marred by monetization and stability issues. Reviewers frequently cite persistent or intrusive ads, the absence of an undo/backtrack option, progression bugs that prevent advancing, and a coin economy that gates play. Despite these concerns, players generally enjoy the core gameplay and design, calling it a fun, engaging time-waster when it runs smoothly.
Pros
  • Addictive, easy-to-learn puzzle gameplay that players find hard to put down.
  • Sleek, polished design and intuitive UI.
  • Fun, engaging time-waster with satisfying puzzles and good replay value.
  • Generally solid performance with lightweight ads and an available ad-free option.
Cons
  • Ads persist even after paying to remove them, sometimes appearing unexpectedly or on accident.
  • No undo or backtracking feature, making mistakes costly and frustrating.
  • Progression bugs that block advancing to higher levels (dead-ends and level-specific freezes).
  • Coin-based system that gates continued play (coins required to reset/advance) and occasional coin disappearance.
  • Occasional stability issues after updates (touchscreen freezes/locks) that disrupt play.

Unlike the LinkedIn game you only get one shot at solving before you need to spend coins to try again

I downloaded this game and paid a fee to remove the ads. I can’t get back to the game once the ad starts so I have to delete download it again to be able to play. That’s when I decided to pay the fee for no ads, which would be essentially three dollars a week. There were still ads and I got into an ad by accident by pushing the wrong button. And I had to delete the game again. What a waste of my time. It was not fun.

Unlike the original LinkedIn game, this one doesn't let you go back without clearing the entire board and paying some "coins" for the privilege. Even after paying the $3 to remove ads, you still have to put up with "collecting" and "paying" a pointless in-game currency.
