SeaLab is an application resulting from the “Blue as a Cultural Brand” project

Realised by the Municipality of Laigueglia in collaboration with a wide network of partners, SeaLab is the concrete expression of the “Blue as a Cultural Brand” project. Within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU, the initiative aims to promote the cultural and social regeneration of the village of Laigueglia.

With an innovative and multidisciplinary approach, ‘Blue as a Cultural Brand’ is based on a process of rediscovery of the territorial identity through the historical link between Laigueglia and the sea, under the banner of culture, environmental sustainability and social inclusion.

In particular, the initiative aims to transform Laigueglia into a centre of cultural and scientific innovation, with a positive impact on the local community and tourist attractiveness. The long-term vision, in fact, is to make Laigueglia a virtuous example of cultural and environmental tourism, which can attract visitors all year round, going beyond the seaside seasonality.
