Esskay is a purpose-built mobile solution that empowers in-house engineers to efficiently manage machine servicing operations. With its intuitive interface, engineers can quickly create, update, and track service tickets—ensuring maintenance tasks are streamlined, organized, and properly prioritized.

The app features a built-in Punch-In/Punch-Out system that logs working hours, providing transparent records of time spent on-site or in transit. Before punching in, engineers are prompted with a clear consent dialog explaining that location tracking will begin and continue only for the duration of the service task. Similarly, upon punching out, tracking is automatically stopped.

To ensure accurate service logs and real-time tracking, location access is required with "Always Allow" permission, but is only activated during active service tasks. If the user selects any lower level of permission, location tracking is disabled, and the app guides them to adjust permissions to enable full functionality.

Esskay includes a fully integrated Maps interface to enhance service visibility and technician navigation. When a technician opens the map view for a service ticket, their live location is displayed, and route guidance is provided for efficient navigation.

Esskay also supports offline mode, allowing engineers to continue work without active connectivity. During offline periods, service data and location history are securely stored on the device and automatically synced once the network is restored.
