User Reviews
I've played this game for nearly two years, so these criticisms come from long-term experience, not one bad day. On Google Play it's called Top Girl. On the Apple App Store it's called Idol Company. Inside its own support system it's called Apex Girl. Even the listed company names differ depending on where you look. That confusion perfectly reflects the rest of the experience. The developers consistently prioritize new sales, VIP features, and paid content over fixing long-standing issues. Core mechanics remain poorly documented and often contradict what players actually see in-game. Parking War is a perfect example. I'm Level 82 and have lost to players in the 50s despite appearing to have stronger artists or higher visible statistics. Player level alone clearly does not determine the outcome, yet the game never explains how artist levels, skills, vehicles, collectibles, fan genes, blueprints, HQ bonuses, attack bonuses, reductions, and other modifiers are actually weighted. After a loss, the only explanation is, "Improve your Artists' abilities," which tells players nothing about what actually determined the battle. The same lineup can display dramatically different power values on different screens with no explanation of which value is actually used in battle. The game also sells HQ skins with Artist Sing, Artist Dance, and Artist Manage bonuses, yet neither the game nor customer support can clearly explain what those bonuses actually do, how they're calculated, whether they stack, or which skills are more valuable. Players are expected to spend money on systems that even support cannot explain. The lack of quality control extends throughout the game. Events display "Event does not exist." Mini-games end incorrectly. The iOS support chat frequently leaves black bars and blank screens. The game literally ships with text like "Breathtakin" instead of "Breathtaking." These are basic quality assurance issues that should never make it into a production release. Customer support has been equally disappointing. I submitted detailed reports with screenshots, reproducible examples, and clear explanations. The responses were generic, repetitive, and eventually stopped altogether. Despite claiming my reports had been submitted, support provided no case number, no meaningful follow-up, and no response after my latest report. Meanwhile, the App Store is full of public replies saying they value feedback, but my documented issues remain unresolved. After nearly two years, the pattern is obvious: monetization receives immediate attention, while bugs, documentation, transparency, quality control, and meaningful customer support are consistently neglected. Long-term players deserve far better than this.
Even the App Store's "App Support" link leads to a generic Larks Holding corporate website rather than a game-specific support page. The site contains generic marketing about developing strategy games but doesn't clearly identify Top Girl, Idol Company, or Apex Girl, nor does it provide an obvious support portal, bug tracker, or player knowledge base. Players are instead left searching through the website and legal documents just to find an email address.

I’ve spent over $150 in this game, so this isn’t a one-time complaint. Server vs Server is a normal recurring phase where you’re sent to another server for a few hours to capture towers — it’s a core part of the game, not some rare edge case. While in that phase, I purchased an event pack ($9.99 / 999 CEO points). The pack itself delivered fine — but it generated no cheers and no recharge credit toward the event I bought it for, because purchases made during Server vs Server apparently don’t count toward your home server’s events. This is never disclosed anywhere in the shop, the event rules, or the purchase flow — despite Server vs Server being something every player goes through regularly.
Because the credit never arrived, I missed the entire bidding window for a time-limited event tied to that purchase — a loss that can’t be undone.
Support took close to a week to respond. The first “verification” I received misidentified the item I’d purchased entirely. After I pushed back with evidence, they eventually confirmed the Server vs Server exclusion is standard behavior — then refused any compensation, calling it normal procedure.
If you play through Server vs Server, know that your purchases may silently not count toward the events you’re buying them for, and the company will not make it right when that happens.
