User Reviews

Saul of tarsus is an 8 bit game focused on Saul’s life in Damascus. Now, why he was never called Paul in the game is beyond me, but this game is pretty cool nonetheless. (Note: may have slight spoilers. If you are planning to get this game, you may want to skip this part. Continue when you see a frog emoji.) So, the plot of the game is… Saul is in a campsite where you have to do a task. Then he’s walking with the Pharisees. If I remember correctly, this part has a challenge. Then BOOM! Saul is talking to Jesus. He becomes blind, blah blah blah you know the rest. 🐸 You have to complete various tasks in Damascus. There is also Pokémon style combat. It is very fun. The part that caused me to remove one star, is the bugs. It wasn’t anything that actually affected gameplay much, but things like the level system. When you leveled up, it just said level level. Like… hello? Also, the currency is g in this game. I can only assume that means gold. When you got over 1,000 g, the thing that shows you how much money you have just says, and I quote, “A lotta g”. Yep. I dunno if it’s hard to code in numbers past 999 or whatever, but yah. Also, there was a part, where some npcs were speaking a different language then the one I picked. I dunno if it’s part of the game or a bug or what. Overall tho it’s pretty good, and I completed it in four hours. P.s. this is not the full game. A rando npc told me the full game was on steam. You can unlock rooms n stuff. (The advertisement wasn’t annoying and it was very quick.) no adds. P.s.s. Game devs I *ahem* promoted your steam version…. Don’t ya think im super awesome and- *cough* *cough*, should get my review on the app screen- *cough cough* Oh who said that? I didn’t say that.
