Daily Reading: an Orthodox liturgical calendar that works offline Tap your avatar and the day is worked out. The epistle and the gospel appointed for that date, the saints commemorated, the name of the feast, and whether it is a fast day: the Lenten Fast, the Dormition Fast, the Nativity Fast. Step back and forward a day at a time, and jump back to today in one tap. Movable feasts are computed from Pascha on the device, so any year works. Switch between the Old Calendar (Julian) and the New Calendar. None of it needs a connection: the calendar ships inside the app, so the readings are there on a plane, in church, or with the signal off.

The Church Fathers, as books you can read The works themselves, front to back, read like any other book in the app. The Apostolic Fathers are built in and need no download: 1 and 2 Clement, the seven letters of Ignatius, Polycarp to the Philippians, the Martyrdom of Polycarp, the Didache, the Epistle of Barnabas, the Shepherd of Hermas and the Epistle to Diognetus, fifteen works in all. The Ante-Nicene Fathers and both series of the Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers are downloadable: 37 volumes, 906 works. What you unlock goes on your cartoon avatar. The Fathers and the Great Books earn XP and keep the streak going.
