fu§ion Kaleidoscope is not a filter for still images. It converts what the lens sees into a kaleidoscope in real time, and the pattern keeps changing as you move.

■ Three kaleidoscopes

• Live Camera Kaleidoscope Whatever the camera sees becomes a kaleidoscope on the spot. Both the front and rear cameras are supported. Video is processed on your device and never leaves it.

• Picture Kaleidoscope Build a pattern from a single photo in your library. A familiar picture becomes something else inside the symmetry.

• Julia Kaleidoscope An endless pattern built on the Julia set. Pick a base color and the whole palette shifts with it.

■ Choose your mirrors

The wedge is the classic kaleidoscope, opening out from the center. The mirror box tiles the plane while keeping the shape of what you see. The same subject produces completely different patterns depending on the mirror.

■ Keep the motion as a GIF

Export three seconds of the evolving pattern as an animated GIF and share it. You can also save a still image to your photo library.
