Leadoff: Walk-Up & Lineups

Leadoff—formerly Lineup DJ—brings walk-up songs, announcer introductions, and fair lineups to youth baseball and softball. Coaches can assign Apple Music songs, preview lifelike player introductions, run GameDay mode, and create game intros or mid-inning playlists. Music automatically dips under announcements for a broadcast-style experience, with offline playback available at the ballpark.

Build fair batting orders and fielding rotations using league rules such as everyone-bats policies, pitching limits, and position caps. Parents join free with a team code or QR code, contribute song picks, and view the current lineup. Teams sync across phones and the web, while privacy tools, explicit-lyrics flags, private coach ratings, and an ad-free experience help keep the app family-friendly. An Apple Music subscription is required for full-song playback; one Leadoff subscription covers the team’s GameDay mode.
